This site is an enormous resource and makes looking for lake property enjoyable and easy. The site itself, and with regular phone calls with Paula and Carl, allowed us to narrow down and get to the location that was affordable and met our needs for scenery, skiing, sailing, fishing, etc. The site give you all you need, and Paula's and Carl's, easy, competent, manner made it a pleasurable experience. They are involved and available, but will not pester or push you through the process. Paula and Carl have a consultative approach and focus on finding as opposed to selling. That business model eliminates confusion and keeps the objective clear to find a good match with the client and the property. They know all of the lakes in New Hampshire. They recognized which lakes were too big or too small for our needs. They kept us in our price range and provided intuitive information about the lakes regarding; depth, cleanliness, overall size, and density on the shoreline. The information and support allowed Mary Lou and me to get a sense of the New Hampshire lake environment, when, as I mentioned, we had little knowledge before we contacted Lady of the Lake.

We worked with Carl when we wanted to find a lakehouse so that we could get out of Boston on the weekends. We found him through his website which is a great resource for anyone looking to purchase in the NH lakes region. We set our preferences up on his site to narrow down the areas we were interested in, and we found several properties of interest right away. We also told Carl exactly what we were looking for - number of bedrooms and baths, but more importantly something with a yard, a beach, and a house that did not need lots of work. He lined up all the showings for us and on one Saturday morning we saw 8 properties, narrowed it down to two, and on Monday, put in our offer. Carl was great in helping us understand the facets of lake living that were new to us as city dwellers - septic tanks, point wells, wood burning stoves, monitor heating systems. Carl was with us through the whole process - working with the sellers, the inspections, the walk through, and the closing. He has also stayed in touch since, helping educate and guide us on generators, snow plowing, and firewood to keep us going through the winter. He truly was "one call and you are lakeside!"
