Lake Sunapee is located off Interstate 89 and is 4015 acres with a maximum depth of 105 feet. The major draw in addition to the pristine water quality of the lake is Mount Sunapee Ski Resort just minutes from the shoreline. You will not find any box stores or chain restaurants around the lake keeping the towns around the lake picturesque. There are 3 major harbors on the lake for marine supplies and the towns around the lake include Sunapee, New London, and Newbury. There is plenty to do around the lake year-round, boat show, sailboat racing to the League of NH Craftsmen Fair every summer.

Squam Lake is 6791 acres the second largest lake in NH. As you cruise the shoreline old family estates are set back from the lake leaving the shoreline the feeling that it is undeveloped. Properties on this lake frequently remain in the same family ownership and much of the shoreline is owned by three families that is in conservation never to be built on. Lake Winnipesaukee is 44,422 acres. This glacial lake is home to sports and movie stars to high-ranking political figures. This is the only lake in NH that you could use your boat all summer and never get in your car to enjoy all the attractions and shopping the lake has to offer. Most boaters will spend the morning water skiing or wakeboarding and the afternoon at one of the many sandbars. The evening you can boat to Center Harbor, Wolfeboro, Meredith, Laconia, Alton, Gilford for dinner and a quick stop in Tuftonboro at the local store. There are tons of attractions around the lake including a wonderful outdoor concert venue along with Gunstock Ski Resort offering 4 seasons of activities.
