Newfound lake is 4451 acres with a maximum depth of 182 feet. Newfound a glacial spring fed lake is the cleanest lake in NH with panoramic mountain and lake views. In addition to boating, sailing, and snowmobiling at Newfound you can launch your boat at Wellington State Park to enjoy some of the best smallmouth, salmon and lake trout fishing in NH. Ragged Mountain Ski and Golf Resort is just 15 minutes from the lake along with numerous hiking trails. Just north of the lake you will find the college town of Plymouth. Here you will find major grocery stores, restaurants, hardware stores, and hospital.

Bristol NH
Bristol is located at the south end of the lake located just off Exit 23 on Interstate 93. Town has a quaint main street with banking, restaurants, art gallery, shopping, and a major grocery store on Pleasant St. The lake is just a few minutes up the road from town.
Alexandria NH
Alexandria is located on the western shoreline. You can drive in and out of town without knowing you even entered the town. Driving on West Shore Road you pass Wellington State Park a mile later it looks like the road was cut into a mountain ledge, scenic but a little scary driving.
Hebron NH
Hebron is located on the northern shore of Newfound. The town beach is one of the nicest on the lake and Hebron also has some of the lowest property taxes in NH. Newfound Audubon is located in town comprising of three wildlife sanctuaries, the Paradise Point Nature Center, Ash Cottage at Hebron Marsh Sanctuary and the Bear Mountain Sanctuary.
Bridgewater NH
Bridgewater located on the eastern shore of the lake offers some of the best sunsets on the lake. Like Hebron has some of the lowest real estate property taxes in New Hampshire. The residents value the forests, open spaces, outdoor recreation, and for the scenic beauty the town provides.
