Recreational Boating and Fishing in NH Memorial Day is here and everyone is traveling north from Massachusetts to New York to enjoy some great boating and fishing on our lakes. One of the main destination lakes in NH is Lake Winnipesaukee and trailering your boat from a far is not enjoyable at all. With the extra cost of gas you will burn trailering up and the hassle of launching, parking the car and trailer and then at the days end waiting in line to load the boat on the trailer there has to be some options.
Marinas do have a couple of options for you one is to rent space in there boat yard for your trailer and all you have to do is drive up saving wear and tear on your car or truck hook up the trailer to your vehicle when you arrive and launch the boat or another great option is rack storage. Rack storage or valet storage is great way to enjoy the lake and it takes all the hassle out of the launching and loading process. Your boat is safely stored in a rack out of the water and you call prior to your arrival time and your boat will be tied up at the dock all set for you to load the family and extra gear in for a wonderful day of boating. At the days end you pull back into the docking area tie up and the valet comes over picks your boat back up and puts it safely in the rack for your next visit. I typically get to my boat and it is still dark for a morning of fishing. The hassle is totally gone when you have your boat on a dock. Jump in and go especially in low light conditions.
Your third option is purchasing a dock, we have docks available on all the major lakes including Winnipesaukee, Sunapee, Squam and Newfound. We have a dock available in Meredith for $26,000, a summer home for your boat.
