You are missing the boat literally if you have not considered coming up to the lakes region to enjoy our 200 plus lakes. Buying a home on the lake is expensive and the taxes can sometimes put your child through college. What about purchasing a dock. A dock and take the hassle out of trailering your boat in heavy traffic, looking for a boat launch then waiting in line to get your boat in or out. One of my favorite past times when I was younger was to sit by the launch next to our home at the end of the day to watch the happenings. A few bumps into the dock going to fast and a lot of yelling at family, the wife especially and that friendly person that cuts you off. You know you can purchase a dock on the lake for $25,000 to the $125,000 range on Lake Winnipesaukee and $80,000 up on Squam Lake. Ocassional you will also find a dock/slip available on Sunapee or Ossipee. If you can't buy rent one. Take the hassle out of your boating season. I bet you will be on the lake more often and longer. I own a dock and most of the members have never seen me. I get to the dock at 5 am and fish until 8:30 or 9 am and then head home. Life is good with a dock.
