Hilton Park Boat Access to Be Closed January 21-March 8, 2013

Boating_access_logoCONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire Fish and Game  Department today announced that the New Hampshire Department of Transportation  (NHDOT) Hilton Park boat access facility on the Piscataqua River in Dover will  be closed to the public from January 21 through March 8, 2013, because of  construction activities related to installation of a natural gas pipeline.

During this time, Granite State Gas Transmission, Inc.  (GSGT), in coordination with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation  (NHDOT), will conduct pre-construction and construction activities necessary  for installation of a natural gas transmission pipeline under the Piscataqua  River between Newington and Dover, N.H.

Mobilization and pre-construction activities are  scheduled to commence on January 21, 2013 on NHDOT property in Newington, on  the easterly side of Spaulding Turnpike and south of Shattuck Way and on NHDOT  property in the area of Hilton Park in Dover. Drilling activities are scheduled  to commence on February 6, 2013.
