Rain Rain Go Away. The past 7 days have been a combination of rain and more rain with temperatures in the high 80's and terrible humidity. On the brighter side gardens are growing and there is no way a forest fire could even smolder. I am pretty close to renaming this article the Lake Winnipesaukee Real Estate Update. We had 39 new lakefront listings last week and 21 were located on Lake Winnipesaukee. With the warmer weather Winnipesaukee Island homes are coming on the market. Last week we had 9 Winnipesaukee island homes listed priced from $185,000 for a small camp on Rattlesnake to a lovely year round home on Whortleberry Island for $415,000. Mainland listing prices started at $725,000 for a home on bridged Black Cat Island to a luxury 5 bedroom home in Wolfeboro on just over 1 acre of land and a sandy beach for $4.8 million. Other lakes with multiple listings include, Sunapee, Opechee, Pine River Pond and Northwood Lake. In addition to waterfront owned 28 shared waterfront homes were listed many with a dock or mooring for your boat. Sixteen new condo's were listed and my pick of the week is a condo located on Newfound Lake in low tax Bridgewater. This home is just steps to the lake and includes a mooring, tennis, sandy beach, sunsets plus it is close to skiing and golf.
