Wicwas Lake is 350 acres with an average depth of 13 feet and a maximum depth of 35 feet. This warm water lake has some of the best bass fishing in the state. The boat launch is located off Chemung Rd and jet skis are not allowed. There are three private islands with a large section of the southeastern shoreline wooded and marsh with no homes. Much of the eastern shoreline is in conservation. With the irregular shape and islands, it is a great lake for kayaking and canoeing. Homes around the lake vary from the turn of the century cottages to year-round homes. 
In 15 minutes you can be in downtown Meredith and in 35 minutes skiing at Loon, Waterville, Cannon or Ragged. You will find restaurants, hiking trails, golf and attractions minutes in any direction.
